Dance Charity Event For Amalgam, Last Standing Dance School in Beirut.

An evening filled with dance, music, bites & good vibes to raise funds & support Amalgam, the last standing dance school in Beirut, Lebanon.

Dance is both a privilege not to be taken for granted, and a true basic necessity.

The economical crisis in Lebanon has affected the country on so many levels. And also Amalgam, one of the last standing dance schools left in Beirut-Lebanon, has been a victim of this crisis. Amalgam is struggling to survive and its future is uncertain.

And what better way to support the future of dance… than by dancing.

Therefore, on Friday 2 June, we come together, bundle our forces and raise funds to help Amalgam.

The evening will be filled with a Bellydance workshop by Sarah Safi Harb (The Dance Movement), a Bouzouki musical performance by Ghenwa Noiré, bites & drinks, and a chance to dance the evening away with DJ Hilwi playing tunes for us!

* This evening is open for dancers of all levels, no prior experience is needed at all!
 * This evening is also inclusive to all genders & in between.
* Wearing something you feel fly in, and can dance in, is recommended.

Bites & drinks can be purchased all evening.

Donation
Donation/entrance starts at minimum of €20,-
Donating more, if possible to you, is highly needed and appreciated.
Your donations will be collected and donated to Amalgam.

Location
The evening will take place at Café Belcampo, situated in de Hallen passage in Amsterdam, entrance is the exact same as the entrance to the library.
