The Dance Movement doesn’t offer FREE trial lessons. We offer 2 trial options, a single credit or a trial package (3 classes within 3 weeks) you will find the prices here. To book your trial lesson sign up in the schedule.

Go to the schedule 

• Choose your city
• Choose your desired class in the schedule and click on it.
• You are directed via the Eversports software to purchase your desired credit(s) & book your class.
• Sign up in the schedule every time you want to attend a class.
• You can cancel or reschedule your class up to 4 hours prior to the class.

• Wear something you feel pretty and comfortable in and that doesn’t restrict your movement. (you don’t need to show your belly if you don’t feel comfortable, you may wear what you feel best in)
• Shoes: barefoot, socks or soft ballet shoes.
• Scarf for the hips: If you have one bring it with you, if not I have some at the studio you could borrow or buy.
• Your crown, because yes you are queen!

The classes offered are all open level, which means they are open to complete beginners as well. That said Raqs Sharqi (Bellydance) is a dance that takes a lot of practice and commitment. The more you attend the classes consistently the more progress you will see. Be gentle and patient with yourself as you learn.

All classes are taught in English.

The classes on Tuesdays are women only and hijabi friendly. The Bellydance (all level) class on Wednesdays are open to all genders.

The classes offered at The Dance Movement are for adult women, there is no maximum age to join. Minimum age to join is 16 years old. Girls between 13 and 16 years old are welcome to come with their caretaker.
